
| Formed in 1996, LegalNet Works Incorporated focuses on the development of information security laws and regulations with an emphasis on liability, risk management, national security, regulatory compliance, and privacy. LegalNet consults both government and industry officials on legal and policy reform in these complex areas. Lee M. Zeichner, Esq. Lee M. Zeichner is President of LegalNet Works, Inc. Mr. Zeichner served as senior counsel to the President's Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection and has been a legal consultant to the Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office since May 1998, when Presidential Decision Directive 63 created that office. Mr. Zeichner also served as legal counsel to the Y2K National Information Coordination Center (ICC). During his tenure with the ICC, Mr. Zeichner prepared relevant privacy guidelines, drafted the ICC's Information Security Policy and Operations Manual, and prepared analysis of laws and policies to support restoration of critical infrastructure during a national security emergency. Mr. Zeichner is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (1988 cum laude). He graduated from the University of Florida (B.A. 1983, Phi Beta Kappa) and received his Masters in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. Mr. Zeichner recently published a legal treatise, Cyber Security & Corporate Liability, for Matthew Bender & Co., a division of Lexis-Nexis. |
